appears that a man and a woman were killed while fly fishing the cheakamus river in canada this week. the mans body was found shortly after, while the search for the woman’s body was called off until the water levels drop.
the man is believed to have jumped in to try and save his female fishing companion after she slipped and fell in.
another reminder of the power of a river.
