was watching the second episode of pirates of the flats on espn2 and watched bill klyn and yvon chouinard break out a plastic pair of snow shoes that the strapped on to use on the flats while fly fishing for bahama bonefish.

Flats Snow Shoes

pretty clever, although it doesn’t appear that they worked quite as expected, it was cool to see them out trying something new.

the show is also just what this winter “cold snap” ordered. great to see some quality fishing shows on tv. definitely should check it out.
