In a couple of hours the voting begins on Ballot Initiative #4 in Alaska.  Polling locations are available, and Alaskans for Clean Water are asking for support of the initiative. 

“We’re grateful that Alaska’s voters are taking the time to look into Ballot Measure #4 and to make up their own minds about this important issue,” said Art Hackney, one of the sponsors of Ballot Measure #4. “Voters are getting the message that the initiative just imposes two water quality standards that are needed to stop harmful and deadly toxins from being discharged into salmon spawning streams.”

Got word the other day, much to the chagrin of my wife, that my buddy Dave out in idaho, is packing up and shipping out a box of goodies from Lamson…
